Then, there was the brilliant “almost” play that Coleman had early in his stint with the Seahawks that made Sherman dub the young cornerback the “King of Maybe.”

It was just one of many near misses this fall that frustrated Coleman. He told Sherman he was tired of being the “almost-guy.”
“Don’t be the almost-maybe guy,” Sherman said. “You know that ain’t gonna make it in this league.”
Then came Coleman’s pick-six last weekend and that one play has invigorated the Seahawks’ newest defensive back.
‘See, I’m back. I’m at it,“He was like,” Sherman said. “And I’m so excited for him because he’s a tremendous talent.”
The interception was Coleman’s first as a pro. He hopes it won’t be his last.
” Coleman said. “I’ve gotta do my job, and if they throw it my way,“I try to stay consistent every day as far as technique and everything, I should make the most of the opportunities.”
