This week in Indianapolis, uncertain at quarterback and plotting how to use the fifth overall draft pick, clubs will evaluate the next infusion of prospects. The Broncos,Womens Jamaal Charles Jersey, Sam Darnold, will be among the most interested in passers such as Josh Rosen, Josh Allen and Baker Mayfield.

absorbing a playbook,Womens Max Garcia Jersey,Kelly is ahead of them when it comes to pro experience, traveling to all Denver's road games despite being inactive, breaking down film with veteran coaches and QBs, learning what it means to be a full-time football player.

he isn't really in the NFL.,Womens Todd Davis Jersey,But by Kelly's personal definition

"It hasn't hit me yet, "and I don't think it'll hit me until I step on that field for the first time and play an actual game.," the St. Joe's grad said

and I can't wait to have that feeling and contribute with my best friends,"Being in that locker room and seeing those guys put on that jersey and come together and get hyped up and ready to go play another NFL team was really neat, my teammates I'm going into battle with every day."

Kelly would seem a safe bet to remain with Denver if he stays healthy and doesn't give skeptics reason to recall his silly missteps at Clemson or while visiting Western New York.

As a seventh-round draft choice,Womens Bennie Fowler Jersey, he's an inexpensive lottery ticket for president of football operations/general manager John Elway.

"There's only 32 starting quarterbacks in the NFL," Kelly said. "You've got to be thankful for your opportunity.

"You can dwell on being hurt, but the opportunity to scan your ID card in the parking lot and walk into work and see great players and great people and guys that want to do that every single day with you is what it's all about."

The other quarterbacks on Denver's roster have been unremarkable. In the two years since Peyton Manning won the Super Bowl and retired, the Broncos went 14-18 and ranked in the bottom half of the league in points and yards.

Second-year coach Vance Joseph overhauled his staff after last season, hiring offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave and quarterbacks coach Mike Sullivan. Elway's old backup and veteran NFL head coach Gary Kubiak remains on staff as an advisor.

Trevor Siemian has one year left on his rookie contract. He has won the starting job out of training camp the past two years,Authentic Darian Stewart Jersey, but underwent left shoulder surgery for the second straight offseason.

The Broncos traded first- and third-round draft choices to move up four slots and take Paxton Lynch 26th overall two years ago. Lynch has started four games.

Joseph didn't elaborate on Denver's quarterback plans aside from saying Kelly,At a combine news conference Wednesday, Siemian and Lynch all are in the derby.

" Kelly said of the Broncos depth chart. "You just come to work every day, whether it's in the weight room, wanting to learn,"You can't control the outside stuff, wanting to get better, the classroom or out in the field.

We may not know for years whether the Minnesota Vikings are making the right decisions regarding their quarterbacks,Authentic Max Garcia Jersey, but we can again be assured that they are making the most interesting possible decisions regarding their quarterbacks. The only thing missing from this drama is a flight to Hattiesburg.

The Vikings reportedly will not attach the franchise tag to Keenum,Authentic Riley Dixon Jersey, meaning he can test free agency.

They reportedly will not attempt to “toll” the contract of Teddy Bridgewater, meaning he can test free agency.

These developments suggest a likely recruitment of the most prolific quarterback available in free agency, Kirk Cousins.

Vikings general manager Rick Spielman is taking a risk. The safest route available to him was placing the franchise tag on Keenum,Once again,Authentic Todd Davis Jersey,Authentic Bennie Fowler Jersey, ensuring he would retain the services of a popular starting quarterback for the 2018 season.

Spielman appears to be gambling that he can either improve on Keenum,Womens Riley Dixon Jersey, or bring back Keenum on a deal that would benefit the Vikings more than the one-year,Instead,Authentic Brandon McManus Jersey, approximately $24 million contract he would get under the terms of a franchise tag.

Everson Griffen and Dalvin Cook were considered character risks coming out of college. Harvin performed well before bringing value in a trade,Percy Harvin, Griffen is a star and Cook might have become the rookie of the year had he remained healthy last season.

And when it comes to quarterbacks, Spielman has learned that “safe” can be a synonym for “bland.”

Christian Ponder was a safe pick. He was athletic,Womens Brandon McManus Jersey, intelligent and likeable and played for an excellent program. None of that mattered. He couldn’t keep his job.

Remember what Spielman did about 18 months ago. He made a move nobody expected, trading for Sam Bradford just before the start of the 2016 season.

or Bradford’s knee had held up in 2017,And if Spielman’s offensive line had held up that season, Bradford would be the Vikings’ quarterback of the present and future.

Cousins has three desirable options in free agency, assuming he doesn’t hate himself enough to sign with the Cleveland Browns.

and hope that their defense, without Wade Phillips,He can sign with the Denver Broncos, can perform at a championship level again. Which is unlikely. The Broncos finished 5-11 last year.
