Junior Brad Pung, an alternate captain, scored in the second overtime to lift the Wisconsin-based school to a 3-2, double-overtime victory over Salve Regina in the Division III national championship game on Saturday night at Herb Brooks Arena in Lake Placid, N.Y.
t Salve Regina goaltender Blake Wojtala for the game-winner.

taking a pass in the slot in transition and beating Wojtala with 1:29 left in the opening period. It was Sacco’s 12th of the season and came after Salve Regina’s Cameron Russo was called for slashing.,Dominick Sacco opened the scoring for St. Norbert

Seattle is clearly in the process of rebuilding its secondary,Womens Nick Folk Jersey, the need to create depth at the position becomes more evident., so adding yet another player to the mix only makes sense. Considering the fact corner Byron Maxwell has yet to be re-signed

Taking a first glance at Smith, it appears he does not seem to fit the “Seattle mold” head coach Pete Carroll prefers for his corners. Standing at 5-foot-11 and weighing in at 189 pounds,Womens Bryan Anger Jersey, not all Seahawks’ corners are truly made the same. An appropriate comparison for Smith would be the recently departed Jeremy Lane., Smith is a tad undersized when compared to the frame of a “typical” Seahawks defensive back. However

Lane had been Seattle’s long-term nickel corner,Womens Johnathan Joseph Jersey, and since the Seahawks released him in mid-March they will certainly be looking for a replacement to fill his shoes. Jeremy Lane is 6-foot-0 and 190 pounds, only one inch taller and one pound heavier than Smith. Lane and Smith also run similar 40 times – Lane with a 4.53-and Smith with a 4.57 – showing comparable speed for the position. It would seem the Seahawks have hope of Smith stepping in to become a younger, cheaper,Authentic Brian Cushing Jersey, and less injury-prone version of Lane.

Although Smith may not have the height Seahawks corners usually have, Seattle has drafted eight players with the intent on having them play cornerback. All eight have had 32-inch arms.”, where he does fit in is the fact he has 32-inch arms. His massive wingspan is par for the course when it comes to Seattle’s defensive backs. As Gregg Bell of the News Tribune writes: “Since Schneider and Carroll arrived to run the Seahawks in January 2010

Justin Coleman, Akeem King and now,Authentic Duane Brown Jersey, Neiko Thorpe,The Seahawks cornerback position includes Shaquill Griffin, Mike Tyson, C.J. Smith. It remains to be seen if Seattle will make any more moves to bolster their secondary before the 2018 NFL Draft.

The Seahawks added to their defensive line depth by agreeing to terms with free agent end Marcus Smith Thursday.

Smith confirmed the news while a report from Josina Anderson of stated he agreed to a one-year deal worth up to $2.7 million. He is expected to officially sign in the next day or so.

The Seahawks signed Smith last July after he was waived by the Eagles, who made him the 26th overall pick of the 2017 draft.

Smith played mostly in a reserve/rotational role at end but saw increasing time in the final three months after Cliff Avril was lost for the season due to injury. Smith had 2.5 sacks in playing 253 snaps. Among his sacks was a forced fumble in the Colts’ game recovered and returned for a touchdown by Bobby Wagner.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported the news that Pryor will be in Seattle on Monday before visiting the Jets at some point thereafter.

who turns 29 in June, spent a miserable 2017 in Washington. After betting on himself with a one-year prove-it contract,Pryor, Pryor recorded just 20 receptions for 240 yards and a touchdown.

and he did not record a reception after a Nov. 5 game against the Seahawks. He chose to have surgery on an ankle injury that plagued him for most of the season later that month,Washington significantly reduced Pryor's snaps as the season went along, which led to him being placed on injured reserve.

including the loss of red-zone target Jimmy Graham. Pryor has the size to be a difference-maker near the goal line,Rapoport previously reported Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson was recruiting Pryor to join the team. Seattle has been in the midst of major changes this offseason, so he could negate some of the effect from Graham's departure.

Pryor set career highs in 2016 with the Cleveland Browns, recording 77 receptions for 1,A converted quarterback,007 yards and four touchdowns.

The speculation began the moment news broke Thursday morning that the New York Giants were trading Jason Pierre-Paul to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

there was talk of how N.C. State defensive end Bradley Chubb was suddenly the pick at No. 2 for them, leap-frogging Saquon Barkley,What will the Giants do to replace Pierre-Paul? Almost immediately, Quenton Nelson and any of the quarterbacks.

the biggest void for the Giants to fill on defense is not Pierre-Paul. When Ross Cockrell signed a two-year deal worth nearly $7 million with the Carolina Panthers,But guess what: a day later, the greatest question mark on that side of the ball for Big Blue revealed itself: cornerback.

Remember: team brass has talked this offseason about breaking bread with Apple and making him a part of things going forward - at least offering him the opportunity to prove last season's debacle in which he was called "a cancer" by Landon Collins and his actions earned a Week 17 suspension were blips in an unforgettable season.

the Giants' 2016 first-round pick,General manager Dave Gettleman said he expects Apple, to be in the facility when the voluntary offseason program begins April 9. Here's what coach Pat Shurmur said at the Combine with respect to Apple: "This is a clean slate deal. I think we all know we need to get better. We had a great conversation. He’s eager to get started when we do get started. We’re gonna put the ball out there and let it rip."

especially at the moment. The Giants have parted ways with Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, although as we saw with Pierre-Paul on Thursday, releasing the respected veteran earlier this month when the two sides could not come to an agreement on a reduction in his pay for 2018. Janoris Jenkins, who earned All-Pro honors in his first season as a Giant, had his share of ups and downs in his second year last fall. He should be back,Could Apple end up elsewhere? Sure, but his presence here is valuable, if Gettleman gets an offer, he owes it to himself to listen.

the cornerback depth is questionable. The Giants have signed B.W. Webb, Teddy Williams and Curtis Riley in free agency,After Jenkins, and Donte Deayon and Brandon Dixon return from last season.

none of those would appear to be a better option to start opposite Jenkins than Apple,Right now, Authentic Lamar Miller Jersey, who excelled in training camp last summer and had everyone in the organization predicting big things for him in 2017.

as the former Ohio State star was picked on early and dealt with off-the-field issues with his family,Authentic Bryan Anger Jersey,That never materialized,Womens Lamar Miller Jersey, the fallout from which lingered throughout the season. His run-in with Collins late in the year just compounded the problem.

Apple is owed nothing from Gettleman, and at this point, Shurmur,Womens Brian Cushing Jersey,With the regime that drafted him fired, defensive coordinator James Bettcher and Co. He's got everything to prove, the Giants appear willing to give him a shot.

" Gettleman said in reference to Apple at the Combine,Authentic Johnathan Joseph Jersey, adding: "We had a nice visit. Eli came in and we talked for about 25 minutes to half an hour. Had a good visit. Broke bread so to speak. I told him,Womens Duane Brown Jersey,"It’s a new day., ‘It’s clean. Let’s go. Let’s go.’ So that’s where we are."

though, the Giants have brought in some pieces and appear better suited to do that. Outside linebacker Kareem Martin and lineman Josh Mauro bring value to Bettcher's defense, having played for him with the Arizona Cardinals. Mauro won't be available once the regular season begins,But as far as finding someone to account for Pierre-Paul's departure,Authentic Xavier Su'a-Filo Jersey, as he was hit with a four-game suspension for violating the league's policy for performance-enhancing substances.

Gettleman has options, and all of those could wind up asking Apple to play a far more significant role than anticipated a few months ago.
